MODEL RAILROADING FROM A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW

A HIGH-ISLE ^tm is a mounting base for scenery that makes it possible for you to create an overhead layout with operating signals, crossing gates, ect., add turnouts for sidings, or extend your layout to another room.

Components are made out of the same material as the HIGH-RAILS® roadbed, and have a back edge designed to fit the roadbed and a free-form outer edge, beveled the same as the roadbed.

It is supported by struts attached to the rear of the upper surface that slide between the ties and under the rails to hold it in place, making it possible to move the HIGH-ISLEÔ if you wish. (the struts must be secured to the roadbed to prevent the High-Isle from falling out due to vibration)

Currently available in straight sections

• Inside radius of LGB R1
• 10" long X 3" at its widest point,
• 6 1/2" long X 4" at its widest point,
• 13" long X 3 1/2" at its widest point,
• ( basically used under switch machines )
• 23" long X 6" at its widest point,
• 14" long X 4" at its widest point
• Turnouts form strightaways and outside radius of curves
